Welcome to Whispering Oaks Winery!
Whispering Oaks Vineyard is located in the beautiful Gasconade watershed of the Ozark Mountains viticultural area of southwest Missouri. The vineyard overlooks a picturesque valley just north of the second highest point in the state.
The wines produced from the grapes of this vineyard are uniquely crafted by the Green family. The Green family has owned this land since 1968 and established the vineyard in 1997. The winery and tasting room on Highway 60 opened the spring of 2004. The wine produced showcases the distinctive flavors the rocky Ozarks soil imparts to the grapes.
Directions from Springfield:
Taking US-60 leave Springfield headed east. The winery is approximately 5 miles east of Seymour. It is visible from US-60 (watch for the billboard!) Take a left from US-60 onto Connector Rd. Take a left onto Lucky Rd. The winery is at the end of the road.
Directions from St. Louis:
Take I-44 west towards Tulsa, exit I-44 at Rolla onto US-63. Take US-63 to Cabool. Make a right turn onto US-60 headed west. The winery is about 5 miles west of Mansfield (watch for the blue attraction sign!). Take a Right from US-60 onto Connector Rd . Take a left onto Lucky Rd. The winery is at the end of the road.
